Post Traumatic Growth Wings Project October 2024 New dates to be uploaded soon Watch this space With thanks to the Community Lottery for providing funding for us to be able to offer you six inspiring and unique nature based workshops aimed at enabling you to grow past trauma. You will not be asked to talk about past experiences. These six workshops combine ancient knowledge with modern day practices. Sessions are held in the West Wight in small groups. They include horses, wolves, labyrinths, medicine wheels, forests, dramatic beaches and being amongst outstanding natural beauty. We weave meditation, mindfulness, art, music and storytelling into a framework of Solution Focused, Metaphor and Somatic Therapeutic approaches to incorporate mind, body and spirit. No two sessions are ever the same as we take the lead from the group. We believe you are the expert in your own way of being and hold knowledge of what will help your growth at any point in time. The intent is to provide meaningful and transformative experiences personal to your needs. You will need to bring your own refreshments/lunch and dress accordingly for the weather and outdoor terrain. The sessions are free Any given session may be postponed at short notice if the weather or tides are unsuitable - but we will provide you with another date.
