Nature Therapy CIC is an award winning nationally accredited training provider. 

We deliver unique, innovative and engaging persona sessions, workshops and courses  designed to enhance your personal and professional development. 

Our primary tutor, Dr Kim Brown,  has a Doctorate in Health Science thereby ensuring all our courses have a sound evidence base.

Kim was a former national Expedition Leaders Tutor. This ensures our courses are grounded in best practice in terms of risk management and safety.

Kim is also a qualified nurse, midwife and teacher who specialises in Experiential Learning and Therapy - a way of hands on learning that involves using your senses. 

Our courses will bring you to the beautiful shores of the Isle of Wight in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Coastal Heritage and a UNESCO Biosphere site

As a not for profit social enterprise all fees charged for courses and workshops go towards running our projects for vulnerable people

We only run only one course per year on any specific subject.

​Labyrinths are reported to date back 50,000 years. They 
 have been found worldwide across many different cultures
​
We bring this ancient symbol back to life through a three day training programme on how to facilitate walking a labyrinth using the Nature Therapy CIC model of practice. 

This course provides you with scientific evidence as well as risk and safety management as well as guidance on styles of labyrinth facilitation designed to reduce stress and anxiety and enhance mental health.

It is ideal for professionals who want to take their practice out into the natural world. This includes teachers, counsellors, therapists, support workers, nurses and youth workers.

Forest Medicine Leadership 


​Based on the ancient Japanese practice of Forest Bathing, the research over the past 40 years demonstrate sound evidence of the impact on human well being.

This three day course provides you with the basics in understanding the scientific evidence, risk management, safety in leading  individuals into a woodland as well as taster sessions of engaging activities designed to reduce stress and anxiety and enhance mental health.

It is ideal for professionals who want to take their practice out into the natural world. This includes teachers, counsellors, therapists, support workers, nurses and youth workers.

​This three day personal course is one of our most popular. It has  been running for over 14 years now and was initially co created with ex veterans based on trauma informed therapy. 

It is now available for anyone who feels in need of some additional strength It has  been shown to significantly reduce anxiety and low mood whilst increasing feelings of spiritul and psychological connection. 

This transformational course is a journey for you to step into your wisdom  and ultimately walk in your own ​power.

Using a mix of ancient knowledge, meaningful interaction with horses and wolves,  we spend time on beautiful beaches, listening to  music of the plants  in forests and setting free our creative spirit
