Safeguarding

Safeguarding is Everybody’s Business. If you become concerned that a child or a vulnerable adult has been harmed or is at risk of being harmed you have a responsibility to act.
First course of action is to discuss your concerns with a Director of Nature Therapy CIC as soon as possible. Paddy Noctor is our named link for safeguarding. The Directors may decide to discuss any issues with the island LADO Paul Barnard. In certain circumstances it is not always advisable to inform the family although more generally any referral would be discussed with them too. If there is a concern about a Director go straight to Social Services or the police. |
